Error: (100) Unable to open exclusively Data01\TA700.DBC
When running the TransActPOS TARepair utility at the Home Office were the Internet Information Server (IIS) is located, the following error can occur.
Error: (100) Unable to open exclusively Data01\TA700.DBC.
Explanation of Error
Typically an exclusive use issue is related to other TransActPOS users being activley connected to the TransActPOS server via their TATerm or TAApp application.
Resolution:
Stop and Start the IIS Server with the following steps. at the server hosting the TransActPOS MultiStore instances.
Select Start
Select Windows Administrative Tools
Select IIS Manager
Within the Connections window, expand the structure to the point that the Sites > "Multistore" is visible.
Upon Left-clicking "Multistore" Site, the Manage Website will appear to the far right of the screen.
Within the Manage Website window, select "Stop"
Within the Manage Website window, select "Start"
a. Left-Click on "Multistore"
b. Select "Stop"
c. Select "Start"
5. Upon completion of the above steps select File > Exit to close the IIS Manager application.
