Drill Down

One of the new features with the new print preview is a feature called "Drill Down." Drill Down allows you to view other areas of TransActPOS and other reports all within the report you are in. If a report has Drill Down Functionality, you will see the following image along the top of the help page.

 

If you click on the image above (in the help page of the report, not here), the page will jump to the portion discussing Drill Down Functionality for that specific report.

 

 

In the Sales Report shown below, you can click on the green underlined text and it will take you to other areas or TransActPOS or other reports. Check below the Sales Report to see what will appear if you click on certain information.

Clicking on the Item Number will bring up the Inventory Maintenance screen of the item.

 

Clicking on the Customer Number will bring up the Customer Info screen for that customer.

 

Clicking on the Invoice Number will bring up a copy of that invoice.

 

On that invoice, clicking on the Payment ID will bring up the Payment information.
