IC ECatalog Price Control for True Value Variable Price Program

1. Setup True Value IOR to enable TransActPOS to receive the True Value Company Variable Price File. More.

2. Select Utilities | Maintenance, the True Value IOR Utility Menu displays. Select Seq. Numbers button. View image.

3. Set the proper Sequence Number for the Variable Pricing File. There will be a Sequence number in this field, it would be a coincidence if it were correct, click view note and image at the end of this step for more information. Select Save then Select Close. View note and image.

4. This will bring you back to the True Value IOR Menu. Select the Communications button.

5. The Import Vendor Screen is displayed, select True Value from the drop down list, then select OK. View image

6. From the Communications Form, select the Updates Button. See image

7. The True Value Communications Screen displays, click the check box for the Variable Price File and the Item Maintenance File. Both of these files are needed to ensure your ECatalog price File is kept current. Select the Start button. When the update is finished, select the Completed - Press Here button. View image

Sit back and relax, the first time this file is downloaded, the entire ECatalog is updated. This takes about 15 minutes or so. This will be dependent upon the speed of your Network and System.

8. Select the Close button to exit the True Value IOR Menu Screen.

9. Select IC | Maintenance | ECatalog Price Control, enter a Valid User ID, and select OK.

10. For a new ECatalog Price Comparison file, select New. To work on a previously saved ECatalog Price Comparison File, select Open.

11. Work The ECatalog Price Comparison File by:

a. Using the Calc Button to Maintain Current Gross Margin.

b. Manually entering the Retail and MSRP.

c. Select the Copy all Pricesbutton.

d. Select the Copy button.

e. Use a combination of the above methods.

12. Print Bin Labels.

13. Set New Prices.
