Grocery Interface
The "Grocery Interface" supports a secondary POS system's inventory where the secondary POS sells products in TAPOS. The Secondary POS's items are not maintained within TransActPOS, but by interchanging item information between the two systems, they are capable of selling all products. This exchange requires the secondary POS to export and import item information and export invoiced TransActPOS items. A grocery store is the best example of this relationship. Grocery items and hardware item sales are exported and hardware items are imported to a shared folder both systems can access. The Mercury Server provides the data exchange for the TransActPOS information. The following information is required in order for this relationship to work:
Path to the shared folder
Grocery Class
Customer for cash sales (this should be different from the CASH customer)
Misc. Item ID
AG Taxation Feature
