Selling a Kit Item
A kit item is sold just like any other item. Proceed as normal with the Ring Sale Invoice process. Upon entering the kit item ID, an additional screen features becomes available to review the component listing.
Show Kit
Clicking Show Kit displays the details of the kit. The component items are listed with the kit item ID in parentheses. Notice the component items are listed at $0 price.
Clicking Hide Kit hides the component items again.
The quantity of a component item cannot be changed within the kit item.
On the sale invoice, the kit component items are listed with the kit item.
A kit's component detail may be shown or hidden on the invoice depending on the setting for Print a kit's item detail in System | Company Setup | POS Information 1. Unchecking this setting hides the component items and only shows the kit item.
