Service Persons

The Service Persons window contains a list of available service technicians within the service department.  A service technician must have an assigned TransActPOS User ID and is typically able to create and modify service tickets.  This listing is used to indicate the preferred service technician on the service ticket.

Create New Service Person

1. Create New Service Person
This prompts you to create an ID for a new service technician and to enter his or her name.  The ID should typically be the technician's initials.

Delete Service Person

2. Delete Service Person
This deletes the highlighted service technician from the list.
 
With the service person's name highlighted, click the Properties tab to modify the ID and Name.
 
 
A service person must also be set up correctly under System | User Security in order to create and manage service tickets.
