The credit card types accepted by your store must be checked in System | Company Setup | Payment Types.
TransAct can be set up to run credit cards in automatic mode or manual mode. The behavior of the workstation depends on the settings in System | Company Setup | Payment Types and System | Workstation | General | Credit Card Reader.
