Ghost Item Auto-Post
How to use the Ghost Item Auto-Post
A step-by-step outline.
The Ghost Item Auto-Post is the same report as the IC | Reports | Ghost Items report. Select the appropriate criteria to search for the possible ghost items.
The report can then be reviewed by clicking the Preview button or the Print button to obtain a hard copy. Make any corrections in the IC | Inventory File as appropriate and then re-run the Ghost report if needed.
Returning to the Ghost Items Report screen reveals the the Post Entries button. Click the button to then post the remaining items on the Ghost Items report.
The Flag Selected Items screen required the user to select between the available actions for the system to apply to the items.
Spec Order Only - Selecting Special Order Only allows the item to be selected but will have the special order item rues applied. General Tab - 9. Controls
No Change - No change is made to the items configuration found within the General Tab.
A confirmation message will then be displayed that these items will be changed to Zero On-Hand and then marked as Not Resellable.
A second confirmation will be then required to continue.
The items are now removed from the inventory stock list. They can still be edited from the IC | Inventory File, if needed.
