SRC and Price

Price is the price of the item entered. The price may be modified by a manual change, customer sales discount, contract pricing, promotions, or other means. The system compares discounts and alternative pricing structures to determine which, if any, apply. If no alternative prices or discounts apply to the item, the price shown is the retail price set in the IC inventory file. If any alternative prices or discounts apply to the item, the one that results in the lowest price is used, and the price shown is the discounted price. There are some cases in which an item may not be discounted or the lowest possible price is not applied.

SRC is the source of the pricing for the item. This includes manual price changes, customer discounting, quantity pricing, and promotions.
